  5. This file will help ensure you have the latest version of DIRUTILS products
  6. which may be useful for your particular needs. Each currently-released
  7. Advocate Directory Utilities file is treated separately below. Find your 
  8. present version number, then review enhancements ABOVE it. Enhancement
  9. announcements generally are distributed to registered users only for updates
  10. offering major new features and/or fixing significant bugs. (Note: Some 
  11. interim versions may not have been publicly released.)

  18. 1.15  29 Apr 90 - Extremely large filesizes displayed in a more aesthetic
  19.           manner. Also, subdirectories with uncommon attributes
  20.           (hidden, etc.) are displayed as subdirectories rather than
  21.           ordinary files.
  22. 1.14  13 Jul 89 - Rereleased as ADIR.COM, as part of the DIRUTILS package (but
  23.           like all DIRUTILS programs is still available separately).
  24.         - Revised free-space and other portions of code for minor
  25.           program size and speed improvement.

  27. 1.12  16 Jun 89 - "More" prompts between screens now automatically disabled if
  28.           output is redirected to printer or file without requiring
  29.           "N" switch. (May be overridden with "M" switch if desired.)

  32.           accommodate some less-common systems

  44. 1.10  20 Aug 89 - "Must-have" enhancements! Taken together, you now can find a
  45.           file or set of files if you know only PART of its name...or
  46.           something CLOSE to it ...or even just its approximate date.
  47.            All this at speeds comparable with the best of lesser 
  48.           competitors. NOTHING on the market comes close!
  49.         - Permits locating files by date (before, since or on a given
  50.           date--or BETWEEN two dates). Five new "batch" files make
  51.           date searching easier for those who prefer emphasis on ease 
  52.           of use over maximum speed and power.
  53.         - "Close-approximation" matches logic vastly upgraded. SIX new
  54.           types of close-match logic added.
  55.         - Several additional enhancements to simultaneously add power 
  56.           while simplifying and speeding use.
